Abstract
The quality of education in Indonesia is still low due to several things,
including the first, the lack of facilities and infrastructure that support learning.
And the second, the teaching staff are less professional. Therefore, improving the
quality of education is an effort that must be made continuously so that the hope
for quality and relevant education can be achieved. In addition, so that
educational institutions are not left behind and are able to compete. Everyone
would certainly prefer to study at an institution that has good quality. On this
basis, schools/educational institutions must be able to provide good service and
quality. In an effort to improve the quality of education, the benchmark for the
quality of educational units in Indonesia can be said to be good or high if it can
reach or exceed the SNP. With the applicable national standards, the direction of
improving the quality of Indonesian education becomes clearer.
Based on the problems above, this study aims to analyze: 1) The effect of
fulfilling the standards of educators and education personnel on the quality of
education at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo. 2) The effect of fulfilling the
standards of facilities and infrastructure on the quality of education at SMA
Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo. 3) The effect of fulfilling the standards of educators
and education personnel and fulfilling the standards of facilities and
infrastructure on the quality of education at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo.
The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. To obtain data
in the study, the researcher used a questionnaire distribution technique. The
sample in this study were 43 teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo. The
data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics, classical assumption
tests, simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis.
Based on the results of the study, it shows that: 1) There is a significant
influence of the fulfillment of educator and education personnel standards on the
quality of education at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo by 69.8%; 2) There is a
significant influence of the fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure standards on
the quality of education at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo by 47.8%; 3) There
is a significant influence of the fulfillment of educator and education personnel
standards and the fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure standards on the
quality of education at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo, by 70.1%, of which the
remaining 29.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
