Abstract

Jurisprudence learning is one of the main components in the Islamic religious education curriculum which aims not only to transmit religious knowledge, but also to form character and foster students' worship practice skills systematically. The materials in the Jurisprudence subject, such as procedures for ablution, prayer, fasting, and muamalah, have affective and psychomotor dimensions that require direct involvement in the learning process.
This study aims to describe the implementation of behavioristic theory in the learning process of Grade XI Jurisprudence, as well as to analyze its effect on students' motivation and skills. In the context of learning Jurisprudence, which is required with practical and applicative aspects such as the implementation of
mahdhah worship (ablution, prayer, fasting, and so on), the behavioristic approach is believed to be able to encourage the formation of students' religious behavior in
a systematic and structured manner.
The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. This
interview involved the Jurisprudence teacher, Mrs. Uswatun Hasanah, as the implementer of learning strategies in the classroom; Deputy Head of Madrasah for Curriculum, Mrs. Siti Sa'diyah, who has the authority to design and evaluate
curriculum implementation; and one of the XI grade students as the subject who experienced the learning process directly. Through this interview, the researcher explores the views, experiences, and responses of informants to the application of behavioristic theory in Jurisprudence learning. The research subjects were Jurisprudence teacher Mrs. Uswatun Hasanah, Waka Curriculum Mrs. Siti Sa'diyah
and grade XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Ponorogo.
The results show that behavioristic theory is used in Jurisprudence lessons in class XI with several approaches that focus on creating student learning behavior. These methods are employed through the use of punishments and rewards, regular repetition of material, and intense practice of questions. Educators, particularly Mrs. Uswatun Hasanah, use these strategies regularly in their efforts to create a learning environment that is conducive and responsive to student behavior.
