Abstract
Islamic boarding schools, as boarding-based educational institutions, play a crucial role in shaping the character and social skills of female students. Musyrifah (supervisors) serve the dual role of mentors and role models, interacting directly with them daily. However, female students still exhibit individualistic attitudes, are less active in group activities, and experience minor conflicts due to a lack of communication and unequal distribution of tasks.
This study aims to analyze the influence of musyrifah guidance, role models, and the simultaneous influence of both on the collaboration skills of female students at Al-Iman Putri Islamic Boarding School. The quantitative approach used was a survey study, involving 229 female students as a sample, randomly selected from a total population of 554 using the Slovin formula.
Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression using SPSS Version 23. The results showed that musyrifah guidance had a positive and significant effect with a regression coefficient of 0.082, while musyrifah role models had a greater effect with a regression coefficient of 0.226.
Simultaneously, the guidance and role model of female students significantly influenced the cooperative skills of female students, with a coefficient of determination of 2.2%. This finding indicates that guidance provides normative direction, while role models provide concrete examples in everyday life, thus complementing each other and collectively shaping the social skills of female students more effectively.
